This Cookie Policy applies to the ProfileTo website and to profile microsites (e.g. profileto.com/username), operated by Innocode Ventures (“we”, “our”, “us”). It describes what cookies and similar technologies Innocode Ventures uses and why.
What we use
- Strictly necessary: Required for the site to function (e.g. session, authentication, security). These do not require consent where the law treats them as strictly necessary.
- Preferences: Remember your settings (e.g. language, theme) so your experience is consistent.
- Analytics and performance: We may use first-party (and where disclosed, limited third-party) tools to understand how the site is used (e.g. page views, referrers). This helps us improve the product. We aim to minimise identification of individuals.
- Referral & affiliate attribution: When you arrive at ProfileTo via a referral link (e.g. a
?via=link on a profile page, an affiliate banner, or any promotional material we or our users publish), Innocode Ventures sets a first-party cookie namedptviato record which referrer introduced you. This cookie is used solely to attribute sign-ups to the correct referrer and award referral credits. It does not track your browsing on other websites.

Referral & affiliate links
ProfileTo operates a referral programme. Users who share their profile link (via email, social media, business cards, QR codes, or any other channel) earn referral credits when a new user signs up through their link. Any link carrying a ?via= parameter is a referral or affiliate link. Innocode Ventures discloses this to comply with applicable advertising and consumer protection laws (including FTC guidelines, ASA rules, and equivalent regulations). The ptvia cookie records the referral for up to 30 days from the click; if you sign up within that window, the referrer is credited.
Profile microsites
When you visit a profile page (profileto.com/username), Innocode Ventures may set the same categories of cookies as on the main site, for operation, security, and analytics. Profile page footer links labelled “Powered by ProfileTo” and “Create your profile” buttons on profile pages are referral links that carry the profile owner's referral code. Clicking them and signing up within 30 days will attribute your sign-up to that profile owner. The profile owner does not control our cookies; they control only the content they publish.
Your choices
You can control or block cookies via your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect site functionality. Where required by law (e.g. GDPR, ePrivacy), Innocode Ventures will obtain consent for non-essential cookies before they are set.
Updates
Innocode Ventures may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest change. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
