Zoom Integration Guide
How to add, use, and remove Zoom in ProfileTo. Last updated: July 2026
ProfileTo is a profile creation platform with optional appointment scheduling. You can connect your Zoom account so guests who book from your profile can receive an automatic Zoom join link. This guide explains how to add Zoom, use it with bookings, and remove the connection.
What the Zoom connection does
- Creates a scheduled Zoom meeting when a guest books (or when you approve a pending booking) with Zoom as the meeting format
- Updates the Zoom meeting if the booking is rescheduled
- Deletes the Zoom meeting if the booking is cancelled
- Includes the Zoom join link in confirmation details for you and your guest
Zoom is optional. You can use ProfileTo without connecting Zoom.
Add Zoom (connect)
- Sign in to ProfileTo and open Dashboard → Appointments → Connections.
- In the Zoom card, click Connect Zoom.
- Sign in to Zoom if prompted, then review and approve the permissions ProfileTo requests.
- After authorization, you return to ProfileTo. The Zoom card should show Connected.

Use Zoom with appointments
- Go to Dashboard → Appointments → Appointment settings.
- Edit (or create) a meeting type.
- Under allowed formats, enable Zoom. Save the meeting type.
- Share your public scheduling link (from your profile or the meeting type page). Guests can choose Zoom when they book.
- When the booking is confirmed, ProfileTo creates a Zoom meeting and shares the join link with you and the guest.
If a guest reschedules, ProfileTo updates the Zoom meeting time. If the booking is cancelled, ProfileTo deletes the Zoom meeting while your Zoom account remains connected.
Remove Zoom (disconnect)
- Open Dashboard → Appointments → Connections.
- In the Zoom card, click Disconnect Zoom.
- Optionally, also remove ProfileTo from your Zoom account's connected apps list.
After disconnect, ProfileTo deletes stored Zoom OAuth tokens and stops creating or changing Zoom meetings. Existing Zoom meetings already created are not all removed automatically just because you disconnected. You can also turn off Zoom as an allowed format on your meeting types so guests cannot select it.
